Samsung SyncMaster 204BW vs ViewSonic VA912b lcd monitor reviews
Samsung SyncMaster 204BW have larger screen (20") than ViewSonic VA912b (19"). With its declared 1680x1050 maximum resolution Samsung SyncMaster 204BW monitor beats ViewSonic VA912b with its 1280x1024. Both of compared LCD monitors have decent pixel response times. Since SyncMaster 204BW has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than VA912b which has luminance 250cd/m2. SyncMaster 204BW has good contrast ratio (700:1) but that is not the case with VA912b (500:1). These TFT monitors are poot for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have horizontal viewing angle of 160º. Vertical angle is 160º on both and therefore you might feel unconfortable watching movies on them. These monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards.
