Screen on both monitor is 20.1" large. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that ViewSonic VX2025WM is better with 1680x1050 than Samsung SyncMaster 204B with 1600x1200.

These monitors have decent response times .

The picture on this LCD monitors can be very bright because brightness is 300cd/m2. Contrast ratio is good on these TFT monitors (800:1 on both). These TFT monitors are decent for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent horizontal viewing angles (VX2025WM has 176º and SyncMaster 204B has 160º).
