Screen size at Samsung SyncMaster 204B is significantly larger with its 20.1" than ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B with its 19".
For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1600x1200 on SyncMaster 204B might be preferable than 1280x1024 on ThinEdge VP930B.
Both TFT monitors have standard (4:3) aspect ratio.
Samsung SyncMaster 204B has good response time of its pixels (5ms), but that is not case with ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B since its pixels response time is 20ms.
