Screen size at Samsung SyncMaster 204B is significantly larger with its 20.1" than ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B with its 19". For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1600x1200 on SyncMaster 204B might be preferable than 1280x1024 on ThinEdge VP930B. Both TFT monitors have standard (4:3) aspect ratio. Samsung SyncMaster 204B has good response time of its pixels (5ms), but that is not case with ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B since its pixels response time is 20ms. Samsung SyncMaster 204B can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. These monitors have good contrast (ThinEdge VP930B has 1000:1 and SyncMaster 204B has 800:1). Horizontal angle is 170º on ThinEdge VP930B and 160 ºon SyncMaster 204B and those values makes them unsuitable for watching TV. Verical angle is 170º on ThinEdge VP930B and 160 ºon SyncMaster 204B and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies.
