Samsung SyncMaster 203B vs ViewSonic VP2330wb tft monitor shopping review
We think that VP2330wb has better screen with its 23" inch size than SyncMaster 203B with 20" large screen. Graphic professionals might find ViewSonic VP2330wb model with its 1920x1200 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Both LCD monitors have good response times (8ms). Picture on SyncMaster 203B could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for VP2330wb (250cd/m2) These monitors have good contrast (VP2330wb has 800:1 and SyncMaster 203B has 600:1). Horizontal viewing angle is bad on both monitors (170º at ViewSonic VP2330wb and 160º at Samsung SyncMaster 203B) for watching . Verical angle is 170º on VP2330wb and 160 ºon SyncMaster 203B and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to newer video cards.
