Samsung SyncMaster 203B vs ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B lcd monitor review
Samsung SyncMaster 203B have larger screen (20") than ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B (19").
For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1400x1050 on SyncMaster 203B might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on ThinEdge VP930B.
Both TFT monitors have standard (4:3) aspect ratio.
You shall not have ghost feeling scrolling on Samsung SyncMaster 203B due to its pixel response time of 8ms, but we cannot say same for ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B since pixel response time is 20ms.
Since SyncMaster 203B has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than ThinEdge VP930B which has luminance 250cd/m2.
Both monitors have very good contrast (ThinEdge VP930B has 1000:1 and SyncMaster 203B has 600:1).
Both monitors have poor viewable horizontal angle (170º at ThinEdge VP930B and 160º at SyncMaster 203B) so they aren't really confortable for watching .
Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (170º at ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B and 160º at Samsung SyncMaster 203B) for watching movies.
Both monitors have DVI input which allows you to connect them to newer graphic cards.
