Samsung SyncMaster 930B vs Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor reviews

We think that PremierPro SDM-P234 has better screen with 23" inch size than SyncMaster 930B with its 19" large screen. Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1920x1200, in contrast to 1280x1024 at Samsung SyncMaster 930B.

You shall not have ghost feeling when scrolling on Samsung SyncMaster 930B due to its pixel response time of 8ms, but we cannot say the same for Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 since its pixel response time is 16ms.

Since SyncMaster 930B has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than PremierPro SDM-P234 which has luminance 250cd/m2. Contrast is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 930B (700:1), the another model has poor contrast (500:1).

Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older video cards. DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with new video cards.
