Samsung SyncMaster 225BW vs Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor comparison
We like more Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 23" inch screen than Samsung SyncMaster 225BW's 22" size. Graphic professionals might find Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 model with its 1920x1200 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Both TFT monitors are wide (16:10 is aspect ratio). When scrolling text on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 you might expirience ghosts because pixels response time is 16ms. Picture on both monitors cannot be very bright (280 cd/m2 at SyncMaster 225BW and 250cd/m2 at PremierPro SDM-P234). Contrast is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 225BW (700:1), the another model has poor contrast (500:1). Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older graphic cards.
