Samsung SyncMaster 204B vs Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor shopping comparison

We liked 23" monitor size on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 quite better than 20.1" monitor size at Samsung SyncMaster 204B. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1920x1200 on PremierPro SDM-P234 might be preferable than 1600x1200 on SyncMaster 204B.

Decent response time has only Samsung SyncMaster 204B with 5ms. Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 haven't good pixel response time with 16ms.

Picture on SyncMaster 204B could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for PremierPro SDM-P234 (250cd/m2) Contrast ratio is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 204B (800:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (500:1). Horizontal viewing angle is nice on both monitors (176º at Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 and 160º at Samsung SyncMaster 204B) for watching movies. Vertical viewing angle is good on both monitors (176º at Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 and 160º at Samsung SyncMaster 204B) for watching movies.

DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with modern video cards.
