Samsung SyncMaster 971P vs NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 lcd monitor comparison
We prefere more 20.1" screen size on NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 than 19" screen size on Samsung SyncMaster 971P. NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1680x1050) than other lcd monitor(1280x1024). These TFT monitors have decent response times of their pixels (6 ms). Since MultiSync 20WMGX2 has luminance 470cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than SyncMaster 971P which has luminance 250cd/m2. Both monitors have very good contrast ratio (MultiSync 20WMGX2 has 1600:1 and SyncMaster 971P has 1500:1). Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to modern video cards.
