Samsung SyncMaster 970P vs NEC 70GX2 lcd monitor comparison

Samsung SyncMaster 970P have larger screen (19") than NEC 70GX2 (17"). Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both TFT monitors.

These monitors have decent response times of their pixels (with 4ms on 70GX2 and 6ms on SyncMaster 970P).

NEC 70GX2 can produce very bright picture (400 cd/m2), but Samsung SyncMaster 970P cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. Both monitors have very good contrast ratio (SyncMaster 970P has 1000:1 and 70GX2 has 700:1).

Both monitors have VGA input so you can connect them to older graphic cards. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern video cards.
