Samsung SyncMaster 971P vs Mag LT717S lcd monitor comparison

We think 19 inch screen at Samsung SyncMaster 971P is better than 17 inches screen size at LT717S. Both of compared TFT monitors : Samsung SyncMaster 971P and Mag LT717S have the same maximum screen resolution (1280x1024).

These monitors have decent response times of their pixels (with 6ms on SyncMaster 971P and 8ms on LT717S).

Picture on LT717S could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for SyncMaster 971P (250cd/m2) Contrast ratio is 1500:1 on Samsung SyncMaster 971P which is good. But Mag LT717S has contrast ratio only 500:1.

These tft monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards. Samsung SyncMaster 971P has DVI needed by some new graphic cards.
