Screen on both monitor is 19" large.
Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both TFT monitors.
Both monitors have good response times of their pixels (Samsung SyncMaster 970P has 6ms and Mag LT917GB has 8ms pixel response time).
Mag LT917GB can produce very bright picture (400 cd/m2), but Samsung SyncMaster 970P cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2.
Contrast ratio is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 970P (1000:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (500:1).
Presence of DVI allows you to connect Samsung SyncMaster 970P with some new video cards.
