Samsung SyncMaster 970P vs LG L1970HR lcd monitor comparison

The same 19" screen size is on both Samsung SyncMaster 970P and LG L1970HR. On both SyncMaster 970P and L1970HR there is maximum screen resolution of 1280x1024.

These monitors have decent response times of their pixels.

Since L1970HR has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than SyncMaster 970P which has luminance 250cd/m2. Contrast ratio is 1600:1 on L1970HR and 1000:1 on SyncMaster 970P and that is quite good value for constrast.
