Screen on both monitor is 17" large. On both SyncMaster 740N and L1732TQ there is maximum screen resolution of 1280x1024. Both monitors have standard aspect ratio (4:3) - they aren't wide. These monitors have decent response times of their pixels (with 4ms on L1732TQ and 8ms on SyncMaster 740N). Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2).
