Samsung SyncMaster 740N vs HP W19B lcd monitor comparison

HP W19B's monitor screen with its 19" we like more than 17" screen at Samsung SyncMaster 740N. HP W19B lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1440x900, in contrast to 1280x1024 at Samsung SyncMaster 740N.

Both monitors have good response times of their pixels (HP W19B has 5ms and Samsung SyncMaster 740N has 8ms pixel response time).

With its brightness of 300cd/m2 we can say that these tft monitors can provide very bright picture. Contrast ratio is 700:1 on W19B and 600:1 on SyncMaster 740N and that is quite good value for constrast.

Both monitors have VGA input so you can connect them to older graphic cards. Presence of DVI allows you to connect HP W19B with some new video cards.
