Samsung SyncMaster 203B vs HP vs17e lcd monitor comparison
We think that SyncMaster 203B has better screen with its 20" inch size than vs17e with its 17" large screen. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1400x1050 on SyncMaster 203B might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on vs17e. Both monitors aren't wide, the aspect ratio on both is standard 4:3. These LCD monitors have decent response times of their pixels (8ms). Since SyncMaster 203B has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than vs17e which has luminance 280cd/m2. Contrast ratio is 600:1 on Samsung SyncMaster 203B which is good. But HP vs17e has contrast ratio only 500:1. Samsung SyncMaster 203B has DVI needed by some new graphic cards. More Information
