Samsung SyncMaster 971P vs Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW lcd monitor comparison

We like more Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW 24" inch screen than Samsung SyncMaster 971P's 19" size. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1920x1200 on UltraSharp 2407FPW might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on SyncMaster 971P.

These monitors have good response time 6 ms.

Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW can produce very bright picture (450 cd/m2), but Samsung SyncMaster 971P cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. These monitors have good contrast (SyncMaster 971P has 1500:1 and UltraSharp 2407FPW has 1000:1). These tft monitors are nice for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent horizontal viewing angle of 178º. Both monitors have good viewable vertical angle (178º) so it is confortable to watch movies on them.

Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern video cards.
