Screen on both monitor is 24" large. On both SyncMaster 244T and UltraSharp 2407FPW there is maximum screen resolution of 1920x1200. Aspect ratio on these monitors is 16:10 and that means they are wide. Since Samsung SyncMaster 244T maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with its 25 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling text on it. These monitors are able to produce very bright picture (SyncMaster 244T has luminance 500cd/m2 and UltraSharp 2407FPW has 450cd/m2). Contrast ratio is good on these tft monitors (1000:1 on both). Both monitors have good viewable horizontal angle (178º) so it is confortable to watch movies on them. These tft monitors are nice for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent vertical viewing angle of 178º.
