Samsung SyncMaster 971P vs Acer AL1916Ab lcd monitor comparison
Screen size on both models(Samsung SyncMaster 971P and Acer AL1916Ab) is 19". The same on both TFT monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1280x1024. These monitors have decent response times of their pixels (with 6ms on SyncMaster 971P and 8ms on AL1916Ab). Picture can be really bright only at AL1916Ab (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at SyncMaster 971P (luminance is 250 cd/m2). Both monitors have very good contrast ratio (SyncMaster 971P has 1500:1 and AL1916Ab has 700:1). Horizontal angle is 178º on SyncMaster 971P and 140 ºon AL1916Ab and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. Vertical viewing angle is good on both monitors (178º at Samsung SyncMaster 971P and 140º at Acer AL1916Ab) for watching movies.
