NEC 90GX2-BK vs Westinghouse LCM-17v2 lcd monitor shopping review
We liked 19" monitor size on NEC 90GX2-BK quite better than 17" monitor size at Westinghouse LCM-17v2. Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both TFT monitors. Both monitors aren't wide, the aspect on both is standard 4:3. NEC 90GX2-BK has good response time of its pixels (4ms), but that is not case with Westinghouse LCM-17v2 since pixels response time is 14ms. Picture on both monitors could be very bright (400 cd/m2 at 90GX2-BK and 350cd/m2 at LCM-17v2). Only NEC 90GX2-BK has good contrast ratio (700:1). Westinghouse LCM-17v2 has contrast of 350:1. These TFT monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. Only NEC 90GX2-BK has DVI input which allows you to connect it to modern video cards.
