NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 vs ViewSonic VX2235wm lcd monitor reviews

We prefere more 22" screen size on ViewSonic VX2235wm than 20.1" screen size on NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2. Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1680x1050.

Both LCD monitors are wide. These LCD monitors have good response times.

Only NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 is able to produce very bright picture (470 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic VX2235wm has brightness 280 cd/m2. Contrast is 1600:1 on MultiSync 20WMGX2 and 700:1 on VX2235wm and that is quite good value for contrast.

These LCD monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. Both monitors have DVI input which allows you to connect them to newer graphic cards. Advantage of NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 is existance of TV tuner.
