NEC 70GX2 vs Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor comparison
Screen size on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 is larger, 23" comparing to 17" on NEC 70GX2. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 is better with 1920x1200 than NEC 70GX2 with 1280x1024. Decent response time has only NEC 70GX2 with 4ms. Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 haven't good pixel response time with its 16ms. Picture can be really bright only at 70GX2 (luminance is 400 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at PremierPro SDM-P234 (luminance is 250 cd/m2). 70GX2 has good contrast ratio (700:1) but that is not the case with PremierPro SDM-P234 (500:1).
