Screen on both monitor is 19" large. Samsung SyncMaster 940MW lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1440x900) than other lcd monitor(1280x1024). Both monitors have good response times (LG L1970HR has 2ms and Samsung SyncMaster 940MW has 8ms pixel response time). With its brightness of 300cd/m2 we can say that these monitors can provide very bright picture. Contrast is quite good on these tft monitors (L1970HR has 1600:1 and SyncMaster 940MW has 700:1).
