LG L1952T vs Samsung SyncMaster 940BW lcd monitor shopping review
The same 19" screen size is on both LG L1952T and Samsung SyncMaster 940BW. Maximum declared screen resolution on SyncMaster 940BW (1440x900) beats L1952T (1280x1024). Both monitors have good response times of their pixels (Samsung SyncMaster 940BW has 4ms and LG L1952T has 8ms pixel response time). Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). Contrast ratio is very good only on LG L1952T (1400:1), the another monitor has poor contrast (500:1). Horizontal viewing angle is poor on monitors (160º). These TFT monitors are poor for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have vertical viewing angle of 160º. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to newer video cards.
