Both L194WT and SyncMaster 931B have 19" screen size. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that LG L194WT is better with 1440x900 than Samsung SyncMaster 931B with 1280x1024. Both monitors have good response times of their pixels (LG L194WT has 5ms and Samsung SyncMaster 931B has 8ms pixel response time). Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). These monitors have good contrast (L194WT has 2000:1 and SyncMaster 931B has 700:1). Only Samsung SyncMaster 931B has VGA input so you can connect it to older graphic cards.
