HP vs17e vs ViewSonic VX922 lcd monitor shopping review
ViewSonic VX922's monitor screen with 19" we like more than 17" screen at HP vs17e. Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1280x1024. These monitors have decent response times (with 2ms on VX922 and 8ms on vs17e). Since vs17e has brightness 280cd/m2 and VX922 has brightness 270cd/m2, therefore we can conclude that these monitors are NOT able to privide very bright picture . Contrast ratio is 650:1 on ViewSonic VX922 which is good. But HP vs17e has contrast only 500:1. These monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. DVI input which ViewSonic VX922 monitor has allows you to use it on modern graphic cards. More Information
