HP vs17e vs Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor shopping comparison
We liked 23" monitor on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 quite better than 17" monitor size at HP vs17e. Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1920x1200, in contrast to 1280x1024 at HP vs17e. You shall not have ghost feeling when scrolling on HP vs17e due to its pixel response time of 8ms, but we cannot say same for Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 since its pixel response time is 16ms. Since vs17e has brightness 280cd/m2 and PremierPro SDM-P234 has brightness 250cd/m2, therefore we can conclude that these monitors AREN'T able to privide very bright picture . Contrast ratio is quite poor at these monitors (500:1 at each). These LCD monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards. DVI input which has Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 is its adventage.
