HP vs17e vs Samsung SyncMaster 244T lcd monitor shopping comparison
Samsung SyncMaster 244T have larger screen (24") than HP vs17e (17"). If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Samsung SyncMaster 244T is better with 1920x1200 than HP vs17e with 1280x1024. Decent response time has only HP vs17e with 8ms. Samsung SyncMaster 244T haven't good pixel response time with its 25ms. Since SyncMaster 244T has luminance 500cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than vs17e which has luminance 280cd/m2. SyncMaster 244T has good contrast ratio (1000:1) but that is not the case with vs17e (500:1). DVI input which Samsung SyncMaster 244T monitor has allows you to use it on new video cards.
