HP vs17e vs Samsung SyncMaster 204B tft monitor shopping review
We prefere 20.1 inch wide screen size at model SyncMaster 204B than 17 built at model vs17e. Samsung SyncMaster 204B lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1600x1200) than other lcd monitor(1280x1024). These monitors aren't wide - they have aspect ratio 4:3. Both monitors have good response times (Samsung SyncMaster 204B has 5ms and HP vs17e has 8ms pixel response time). Samsung SyncMaster 204B can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but HP vs17e cannot since its brightness is 280 cd/m2. SyncMaster 204B has good contrast (800:1) but that is not the case with vs17e (500:1). Both monitors have VGA input so you can connect them to older graphic cards. Presence of DVI allows you to connect Samsung SyncMaster 204B with some modern graphic cards. More Information
