HP L1706 vs LG L1970HR tft monitor shopping comparison
Screen size on LG L1970HR is larger, 19" comparing to 17" on HP L1706. Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both TFT monitors. 2 has decent pixels response time (2 ms) but that isn't the case with HP L1706 since it has 12ms. The picture on this LCD monitors can be very bright because brightness is 300cd/m2. Contrast is 1600:1 on LG L1970HR which is good. But HP L1706 has contrast ratio only 500:1. Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older graphic cards. DVI input which LG L1970HR monitor has allows you to use it on newer graphic cards. More Information
