Gateway FDP2185W vs Westinghouse LCM-19v5 lcd monitor reviews
Gateway FDP2185W have larger screen (21") than Westinghouse LCM-19v5 (19"). Maximum declared screen resolution on FDP2185W (1680x1050) beats LCM-19v5 (1280x1024). Both of compared LCD monitors have decent pixel response times. Picture can be really bright only at FDP2185W (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at LCM-19v5 (luminance is 280 cd/m2). Only Gateway FDP2185W has good contrast ratio (1000:1). Westinghouse LCM-19v5 has contrast ratio of 400:1. Both monitors have DVI input which allows you to connect them to modern video cards.
