Gateway FDP1760 vs Westinghouse LCM-17v2 tft monitor shopping review
The same 17" screen size is on both Gateway FDP1760 and Westinghouse LCM-17v2. The same on both LCD monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1280x1024. Both monitors have standard aspect ratio (4:3) - they aren't wide. Decent response time has only Gateway FDP1760 with 8ms. Westinghouse LCM-17v2 haven't good pixel response time with 14ms. Westinghouse LCM-17v2 can produce very bright picture (350 cd/m2), but Gateway FDP1760 cannot since its brightness is 270 cd/m2. Only Gateway FDP1760 has good contrast ratio (600:1). Westinghouse LCM-17v2 has contrast of 350:1. These monitors have VGA input for connection to older graphic cards. DVI input which has Gateway FDP1760 is its adventage.
