Gateway FDP2185W vs ViewSonic VP2030b tft monitor reviews
We think that FDP2185W has better screen with its 21" inch size than VP2030b with its 20.1" large screen. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1680x1050 on FDP2185W might be more preferable than 1600x1200 on VP2030b. These TFT monitors have decent response of their pixels (8 ms). The picture on this LCD monitors can be very bright since brightness is 300cd/m2. Contrast ratio is good on these LCD monitors (1000:1 on both). Horizontal angle is 178º on FDP2185W and 170 ºon VP2030b and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. Both monitors have good viewable vertical angle (178º at FDP2185W and 170º at VP2030b) so they are quite confortable for watching movies.
