Gateway FDP1760 vs ViewSonic VA1912wb lcd monitor comparison
ViewSonic VA1912wb's monitor screen with 19" we like more than 17" screen at Gateway FDP1760. ViewSonic VA1912wb lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1440x900, in contrast to 1280x1024 at Gateway FDP1760. Both LCD monitors have good response times (8ms). Picture can be really bright only at VA1912wb (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at FDP1760 (luminance is 270 cd/m2). FDP1760 has good contrast (600:1) but that is not the case with VA1912wb (500:1). These LCD monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input.
