Gateway FDP2185W vs Samsung SyncMaster 970P tft monitor shopping reviews
We like more Gateway FDP2185W 21" inch screen than Samsung SyncMaster 970P's 19" size. With its declared 1680x1050 maximum resolution Gateway FDP2185W monitor beats Samsung SyncMaster 970P with 1280x1024. Both of compared TFT monitors have decent pixel response times. Picture on FDP2185W could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for SyncMaster 970P (250cd/m2) Contrast ratio is good on these LCD monitors (1000:1 on both). Horizontal viewing angle is good on both (178º). Both monitors have good viewable vertical angle (178º) so it is quite confortable to watch movies or TV on them. These LCD monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards. Both monitors have DVI input which allows you to connect them to new video cards. More Information
