Screen size at Gateway FDP2185W is quite larger with its 21" than Samsung SyncMaster 930B with 19". If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Gateway FDP2185W is better with its 1680x1050 than Samsung SyncMaster 930B with 1280x1024. Pixel response time on monitors is 8ms and that means you should not expirience so called "ghosts" . Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). Both monitors have very good contrast (FDP2185W has 1000:1 and SyncMaster 930B has 700:1). Both monitors have VGA input so you can connect them to older graphic cards.
