The same 19" screen size is on both Gateway FDP1975W and Samsung SyncMaster 970P. Maximum screen resulution on Gateway FDP1975W is 1440x900, which might prefer graphic experts rather than 1280x1024 on Samsung SyncMaster 970P. Both of compared LCD monitors have decent pixel response times. Since FDP1975W has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than SyncMaster 970P which has luminance 250cd/m2.
