Gateway FDP1760 vs Samsung SyncMaster 931BF lcd monitor shopping review
We think 19 inch screen at Samsung SyncMaster 931BF is better than 17 inches screen size at FDP1760. Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both LCD monitors. Both monitors have standard aspect ratio (4:3) - they aren't wide. Both of compared TFT monitors have decent pixel response times. Picture can be really bright only at SyncMaster 931BF (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at FDP1760 (luminance is 270 cd/m2). Contrast is quite good on these tft monitors (SyncMaster 931BF has 2000:1 and FDP1760 has 600:1). These TFT monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern graphic cards.
