Gateway FDP1760 vs Samsung SyncMaster 204BW tft monitor review
We like more Samsung SyncMaster 204BW 20" inch screen than Gateway FDP1760's 17" size. Graphic professionals might find Samsung SyncMaster 204BW model with its 1680x1050 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Both monitors have good response times of their pixels (Samsung SyncMaster 204BW has 6ms and Gateway FDP1760 has 8ms pixel response time). Samsung SyncMaster 204BW can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but Gateway FDP1760 cannot since its brightness is 270 cd/m2. Contrast is 700:1 on SyncMaster 204BW and 600:1 on FDP1760 and that is significantly good value for contrast. Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older graphic cards. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to modern graphic cards. More Information
