Gateway FDP1975W vs NEC 90GX2-BK tft monitor shopping review
Screen on both monitor is 19" large. With its declared 1440x900 maximum resolution Gateway FDP1975W monitor beats NEC 90GX2-BK with 1280x1024. These monitors have decent response times (with 4ms on 90GX2-BK and 8ms on FDP1975W). These monitors are able to produce very bright picture (90GX2-BK has luminance 400cd/m2 and FDP1975W has 300cd/m2). Contrast ratio on both monitor is 700:1 and that is good value. These LCD monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with newer graphic cards.
