Both models have the same 19" screen size. Both of compared TFT monitors : Gateway FDP1975W and LG L194WT have the same maximum screen resolution (1440x900). Both of compared LCD monitors have aspect ratio 16:10. Pixel response time on these monitors is 5ms for L194WT and 8ms for FDP1975W and that means they have good pixel response times. Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). These monitors have good contrast (L194WT has 2000:1 and FDP1975W has 700:1).
