eMachines E17T4 vs Westinghouse LCM-17v2 tft monitor reviews
The same 17" screen size is on both eMachines E17T4 and Westinghouse LCM-17v2. Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1280x1024. Both monitors have standard aspect ratio (4:3) - they aren't wide. Both monitors seems not to have good response time of pixels : eMachines E17T4 has 12ms and Westinghouse LCM-17v2 has 14ms. Only Westinghouse LCM-17v2 is able to produce very bright picture (350 cd/m2 luminance), eMachines E17T4 has brightness 250 cd/m2. These TFT monitors don't have decent constrast ratio. Contrast ratio of eMachines E17T4 is 450:1 and Westinghouse LCM-17v2 has 350:1. These LCD monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards. These notebooks don't have DVI input so you cannot use them with modern graphic cards. Notable advantages of these LCD monitors are : built in 2.5-watt speakers for Westinghouse LCM-17v2 and for eMachines E17T4. More Information
