Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 tft monitor shopping reviews
We think 24 inch screen at Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP is better than 17 inches screen at LCM-17V8. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP is better with its 1920x1200 than Westinghouse LCM-17V8 with 1280x1024. Both monitors have good response times of their pixels (Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP has 6ms and Westinghouse LCM-17V8 has 8ms pixel response time). The picture on this TFT monitors can be very bright since luminance is 450cd/m2 at UltraSharp 2407WFP and 300cd/m2 at LCM-17V8. Contrast ratio is very good only on Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP (1000:1), the another monitor has poor contrast ratio (450:1). Only Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP has VGA input so you can connect it to older video cards. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to newer video cards. Only UltraSharp 2407WFP has TV tuner.
