Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP vs ViewSonic VX924 tft monitor shopping comparison
We like more Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP 24" inch screen than ViewSonic VX924's 19" size. With its declared 1920x1200 maximum resolution Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP monitor beats ViewSonic VX924 with its 1280x1024. Both of compared LCD monitors have decent pixel response times. Picture on UltraSharp 2407WFP could be very bright (450 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for VX924 (270cd/m2) Contrast is very good only on Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP (1000:1), the another model has poor contrast (550:1). These LCD monitors are good for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent horizontal viewing angles (UltraSharp 2407WFP has 178º and VX924 has 160º). Vertical angle is 178º on UltraSharp 2407WFP and 160 ºon VX924 and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. These TFT monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards.
