We liked 24" monitor on Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW significantly better than 19" monitor size at ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B.
Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1920x1200, in contrast to 1280x1024 at ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B.
6 has decent pixels response time (6 ms) but that is not the case with ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B since it has 20ms.
Only Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW is able to produce very bright picture (450 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B has brightness 250 cd/m2.
Contrast ratio is good on these LCD monitors (1000:1 on both).
Both monitors have good viewable horizontal angle (178º at UltraSharp 2407FPW and 170º at ThinEdge VP930B) so they are quite confortable for watching movies.
Vertical viewing angle is good on both monitors (178º at Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW and 170º at ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B) for watching movies.
These LCD monitors have DVI input for connection .
