Dell E176FP vs ViewSonic VA912b lcd monitor review
Screen size on ViewSonic VA912b is larger, 19" comparing to 17" on Dell E176FP. The same on both LCD monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1280x1024. Decent response time has only ViewSonic VA912b with 8ms. Dell E176FP haven't good pixel response time with its 12ms. Picture on E176FP could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for VA912b (250cd/m2) Both LCD monitors have poor contrast ratio (VA912b has 500:1 and E176FP has 450:1). Horizontal angle is 160º on VA912b and 120 ºon E176FP and those values makes them unsuitable for watching TV. Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (160º at ViewSonic VA912b and 140º at Dell E176FP) for watching movies. DVI input which ViewSonic VA912b monitor has allows you to use it on newer video cards. More Information
