Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP vs Samsung SyncMaster 731B lcd monitor shopping review
We like more Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP 24" inch screen than Samsung SyncMaster 731B's 17" size. Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1920x1200, in contrast to 1280x1024 at Samsung SyncMaster 731B. These monitors have decent response times (with 6ms on UltraSharp 2407WFP and 8ms on SyncMaster 731B). The picture on this LCD monitors can be very bright since luminance is 450cd/m2 at UltraSharp 2407WFP and 300cd/m2 at SyncMaster 731B. Contrast is 1000:1 on UltraSharp 2407WFP and 600:1 on SyncMaster 731B and that is quite good value for contrast. Both monitors have VGA input so you are able connect them to older graphic cards. DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with modern video cards. Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP only has TV tuner. More Information
