Dell E176FP vs Samsung SyncMaster 970P tft monitor shopping reviews
We like more Samsung SyncMaster 970P 19" inch screen than Dell E176FP's 17" size. The same on both TFT monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1280x1024. 6 has decent pixels response time (6 ms) but that is not the case with Dell E176FP since it has 12ms. Picture on E176FP could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for SyncMaster 970P (250cd/m2) Only Samsung SyncMaster 970P has good contrast (1000:1). Dell E176FP has contrast of 450:1. Horizontal angle is 178º on SyncMaster 970P and 120 ºon E176FP and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. Vertical viewing angle is good on both monitors (178º at Samsung SyncMaster 970P and 140º at Dell E176FP) for watching movies. These monitors have VGA input for connection to older graphic cards. DVI input which Samsung SyncMaster 970P monitor has allows you to use it on new video cards. More Information
