Dell E176FP vs Samsung SyncMaster 940BW tft monitor reviews
We prefere 19 inch wide screen size at model SyncMaster 940BW than 17 built at model E176FP. Graphic professionals might find Samsung SyncMaster 940BW model with its 1440x900 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Decent response time has only Samsung SyncMaster 940BW with 4ms. Dell E176FP haven't good pixel response time with 12ms. Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). Both TFT monitors have poor contrast ratio (SyncMaster 940BW has 500:1 and E176FP has 450:1). Horizontal angle is 160º on SyncMaster 940BW and 120 ºon E176FP and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies. These LCD monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent vertical viewing angles (SyncMaster 940BW has 160º and E176FP has 140º). Only Samsung SyncMaster 940BW has DVI input which allows you to connect it to newer video cards. More Information
