Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP vs Gateway FDP1760 lcd monitor shopping review

We prefere 30 inch wide screen size at model UltraSharp 3007WFP than 17 built at model FDP1760. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP is better with 2560x1600 than Gateway FDP1760 with 1280x1024.

Pixel response time on these monitors is 8ms and that means you should not expirience "ghosts" .

Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP can produce very bright picture (400 cd/m2), but Gateway FDP1760 cannot since its brightness is 270 cd/m2. Contrast is 700:1 on UltraSharp 3007WFP and 600:1 on FDP1760 and that is quite good value for contrast.

Disadvantage of Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP is lack of VGA input for connection to older graphic cards. DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with modern video cards.
